Subject: Swedish take on the Twilight Zone mixed into a B Movie
This is a collection of three stories tied together with Lon Chaney Jr playing the devil and Karen Kadler.

The three stories are from a Swedish TV show which looks too be their take on Twilight Zone except the stories aren't knock offs from the series.

The movie says 'introducing' Karen Kadler but she was also in Corman's It Conquered the World, Beatniks amd several TV appearances before appearing in this movie.

I give it 5 stars considering it's a good movie within it's category (low budget early 60's B movie horror). It's 5 stars aren't the same as a 5 stars Jaws or the Godfather would get.

Subject: Hypnotic Swedish model walks but does not talk.
Seriously I could watch the footage of the girl walking down the snowy path all day long, so tall she is with flawless hip action, swaying skirt, and a Vampira-like waist.

That first story was influenced by M R James famous short story 'The Mezzotint,' no doubt in my mind: a picture of a house in that story comes to life, and a figure slowly approaches the house, and then leaves it (carrying a 'bundle'), very slowly. Unlike the movie the picture was bought in auction and the artist was unknown.

Back to the movie. Well perhaps worth noting each of the 'victims' in the first two episodes never speak a word although they are spoke to many times. I thought that unusual.

And a short actor with bulging eyes does a great job in the 2nd story, he reminded me of a Swedish Peter Lorre, but alas, without the voice. But he sure made use of his bulging eyes! Not only that he appears in the first episode too, wearing glasses, playing a press agent and does a fine job..

Overall I felt I was reading a mystery comic from the 50s .. Lon Chaney is good in his role but he does not appear in the episodes, only in the stitching together parts.

Subject: Different!
This was like a cross between the twilight zone and the cbs radio mystery theatre. Sure to please if you like either one.
